View of the soon to be expanded convention center grounds with the downtown skyline visible in the background. Photograph caption dated June 4, 1989 reads, "Nearly vacant lot next to the L.A. Convention Center. Only one structure remains. Once the asbestos has been removed from an old apartment building, this last structure will be removed."
