Description
Photograph article dated March 10, 1961 partially reads, "As a born again Christian, the Christian life is a day-by-day consciousness of the love and saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. This Lenten season, and the events leading up to His arrest, trial, Crucifixion and rise from the tomb on the third day following His death, give us hope of eternal life. It makes us even more aware at this time of our great status through Christ. The abiding presence of God is a great help and comfort in all walks of life." Mr. Smith (pictured), who penned this article, is a Burbank garage owner, and member of the Board of Deacons of the MacArthur Memorial Bible Church, Burbank.
