Description
Used in the exhibit "Over Our Heads: Los Angeles Goes From Stargazing to Moon Landing"
"The Children's Hour"--1951 style--Teddy Hoff, 9, Hollywood schoolboy, and his friend Paula Simonton, also 9, breathlessly watch space-suited explorers on television. Adding a bizarre touch to the interplanetary pajamas, Teddy wears a "space patrol" haircut, a new fad of the vast and growing legion of juvenile TV space drama fans. The hair is worn close cropped, with a circle dropping into a V at the back of the neck.
