Photograph article dated August 4, 1960 partially reads, "Students from many lands have found true friendship inside a rambling wooden North Hollywood home on Whipple Street. The reason for their happiness is Mrs. William Henry Snyder Jr., this year's president of the North Hollywood Chapter of American Field Service... Two years ago the Snyder family had the privilege of having an AFS student from Italy stay with them for a year...This year approximately 2,000 students from other nations will attend schools in the United States under the auspices of AFS."
