Description: Both photographs show a group of women riding a gondola on Venice's Grand Canal. In the frame at left, three women enjoy the sun while the others sit underneath the shaded area. The gondolier is sitting at the rear of the gondola, while a man stands in front of him. In the frame at right, more of the women have come out to enjoy the sun, and the gondolier is standing.
