Description: This June 23, 1948 photograph of members of the Capital City Motorcycle Club was taken in front of their clubhouse at 2414 13th St. Displayed on the front wall of the clubhouse is a banner reading, "SAFETY AWARD - AMERICAN MOTORCYCLE ASSN." The portrait preceded a 5-mile, 25-lap motorcycle race at Hughes Stadium that would see several Sacramento racers lose out to a contingent from San Jose.
