Description
The movie is about the Champion Spark Plug Mine, located in the White Mountain region of Eastern California, Inyo County. The mine was in operation from 1916 to 1942, producing quartz and andalusite. Andalusite was used in making insulators for spark plugs. Owned and operated by the Champion Spark Plug Company.
