Congressman Patrick J. Hillings, of Arcadia, back on September 13, 1955, from a 7-weeks trip through six countries behind the Iron Curtain, said 95 per cent of the people in the satellite nations are with the West and are looking for liberation. "The U.S. should definitely demand certain tests of Soviet sincerity over their peace proposals," Hillings said in an interview at the Biltmore Hotel.
