Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated November 6, 1961 reads, "Toni's the queen - Toni Peters was named Valley College Homecoming queen Saturday night in the Van Nuys campus' field house. William McNelis, Valley College president, crowned the queen at the homecoming dance. Homecoming activities will be climaxed Nov. 11 with a football game against East Los Angeles College."
