Photograph of men shaking hands with the pilot of a United States Air Mail plane, 1920-1930. The pilot is in the cockpit of the plane at center and is reaching down to shake the hands of three men in suits. A copilot is seated behind the pilot at left. The aircraft is a biplane with canvas wings and an air mail insignia at center. The pilots are wearing leather jackets and helmets, as well as goggles. The engine of the plane is partially visible at right.
