Description
Photograph caption dated February 20, 1957 reads, "Noted flier Jimmie Mattern, whose exploits win him a place in OX5 Club's top air adventures list, is interested visitor at Warner Bros. Studio where he poses with the Spirit of St. Louis plane used in the Charles Lindbergh movie due at the Egyptian April 11. The Burbanker made the first America to Berlin flight around the world solo in 1933. Posing with the aviation pioneer is Venetia Stevenson, Miss Eight Ball of L.A. Press Club."
