Photograph caption dated June 24, 1965 reads, "The intersection of Beverly Glen Boulevard and Mulholland Drive in the Santa Monica Mountains is fast gaining a bad reputation for traffic mishaps. Today another motorist took the 400-foot plunge. Here, firemen bring out rescue equipment used to lift Mrs. Eva Ebel, 32, of West Los Angeles, up slope after she went over embankment this morning. Mrs. Ebel suffered a fractured knee. Her car is in background with two others that have gone over the cliff in past years."
