Photograph caption dated June 17, 1965 reads, "Dr. Hubert Eaton, Forest Lawn founder and board chairman, receives the 1965 Distinguished Service Award from the executive board of the American Artists' Professional League, from left, Claude Parson, AAPL Western Regional director. Dr. Eaton was cited for "outstanding service to the world of fine arts..." and for having supported the painting of "The Resurrection." The work, recently dedicated at Forest Lawn Memorial-Park, Glendale, by Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, may be viewed daily from 10 a.m. through 5 p.m."
