Mamie Van Doren was born Joan Lucille Olander in Rowena, South Dakota on February 6, 1931. She is an American actress, model, singer, and sex symbol. Ray Anthony was born Raymond Antonini in Bentleyville, Pennsylvania on January 20, 1922. He is an American band leader, trumpeter, songwriter and actor. He is currently the last surviving member of the Glenn Miller Orchestra. Van Doren and Ray were married briefly, from 1955 to 1961. They have one child. Photograph caption dated January 26, 1955 reads "Ray Anthony, the band leader, and Mamie Van Doren, glamorous Universal-International actress, were ringsiders who immensely enjoyed the fights as a Valley Garden twosome last night." The Valley Garden Arena is in North Hollywood.
