Description
Dr. Barbara Edelstein discusses her book, “The Underburner’s Diet.” She begins by explaining that her book focuses on ‘underburners’ who have a harder time losing weight than the average person. She talks about how exercising and lowering daily caloric intakes can help a person lose weight. She describes several psychological groups people can fall into, and the different feelings these groups have towards eating. Dr. Edelstein discusses the connection between thyroid problems and obesity. She ends the interview by talking about diet pills and the issues surrounding them.
