"Geschw. Waldner vor der Abfahrt nach Deutschland." ("Brethren Waldner before departure to Germany."). On the right: Brethren Waldner standing beside a car. On the left: three other adults. In the center: eleven small children standing in front or sitting on the car. In the background: a stone house with a tin roof.
Cf. photo no. 10679. -- The Waldner family returned to Germany in 1936. -- Ernst Waldner (1898-?) was a missionary of the Herrnhuter Brüdergemeine and served in East Africa. He married Julie Friederike Ebinger.
