Description
Photograph of the old Police Patrol carriage in Truckee, ca.1930. What appears to be a long wooden wagon can be seen at center with the letters "Police Patrol" written across the side. The large, lightly-colored wheels rest on the grassy field below while a large, darkly-colored wooden structure stands in the background. Trees can be seen behind the structures large, shingled roof. "The old Police Patrol now rests on a hillock overlooking this town. In happier days, it was the depot bus for the exclusive guests of the Riverside Hotel. At that time it had a top".
