Description
"Plans for the future began with a figurative step into the past at Weinstock's department store in Country Club Plaza, where Victorian "shops" and a restaurant have opened in the remodeled basement. The $1.5 million project was the first step in what is planned to be an almost total refurbishing of the store. The remodeled basement, which is called The Pavilion, includes such departments as gourmet cookware and imported housewares, grooming aids, luggage ... The departments in the 26,000-square foot, onetime bargain basement were relocated form the outlet's other three stories, where some remaining departments then were expanded ..."
