Description
V2p18c In PHOTO ALBUM-VAULT: ** fc917.9461 A3, Vol. II, page 18 center. This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco." Photo of a group of men in line at a polling station on Election Day 1908, two of whom are identified as Congressman Julius Kahn and Superior Court Judge Thomas F. Graham. Text written on photo: Congressman Julius Kahn [with arrow] Judge Graham [with arrow] Election Day 1908." The polling station is an a wooden shack across the street from a couple of bay-windowed houses and flats. A sign on the shack offers a $250 reward offered by the Board of Supervisors. Also have negative no. (4x5 in.): 29,601.
