This is the first part of an audio recording on Drucker's new book "Innovation and Entrepreneurship". Drucker states his book is based on 30 years as a consultant with all kinds of different businesses, including large corporate organizations and public service institutions. He also says it is a practical book, dealing with the why, the what, and the how of entrepreneurship. This instructional recording is designed to present an organized approach to an increasingly important subject. After Drucker's introduction a male and female narrator alternate speaking. They describe the history of innovation and invention, unexpected successes and failures, and converting incongruities into opportunities.
