Photograph of a map of a 1869 military map of southern California, [s.d.]. The map is predominately black, while any writing or shading is white. Mountain ranges, Indian territory, the Pacific Ocean, rivers, valleys, lakes, and camps are visible as well as portions of what would later become Arizona and Nevada. Photoprint reads: "Military map composed by Major Henry Roberts, US Engineer Office".
