Description
Photograph caption dated November 13, 1956 reads, "A non-commissioned officer, with white stripe on back of steel helmet, crouches down behind .30 caliber water cooled machine gun as his partner feeds belt of ammunition into gun. Bullets splatter into hillside behind terrain target on range few yards from beach at Fort Ord.
