Winners with entries were Ed Sickendick, second from left, Reseda High School, second place; Gary Brooker, center, Polytechnic High School, first place; Ira Buchsbaum, second from right, North Hollywood High, third place. Others, from left, C. T. Decinces, BCA president; Stanley Brown, president Chandler Lumber Co.; Ray Osoling, instructor, Polytechnic High School, and Ralph Scott, BCA contest chairman. More than 160 entries were submitted by Valley students."
