Description
Stereo-5325. Government buildings in foreground; farms in background. Orange mount, purple back. Colonial Administration Buildings for the Colony of Vancouver Island; architect was Herman Otto Tiedemann; known as "the birdcages" (or "bird cages") due to their style of architecture; built in 1859 and replaced in 1898.
