Description
Emphasizing neccessity to aid hungry children in Europe, this red, white and blue float wended its way through the city, urging donations of milk to be put aboard the "Milk Ship" that will carry precious fluid to indigent. Adding color were Eunice Hewitt (left) and Helen Neptune. A crowd gathers in front of the float at Seventh and Broadway. Photo dated: January 14, 1948.
