Description
A woman wears a dress with a high-necked, purple and green striped bodice and sleeves, with a long, yellow skirt trimmed with red at the hem. She wears a white scarf or kerchief around her neck and wears a gray, probably powdered, curled wig. Her hat is blue and conical with two tiers trimmed with bows of dark brown ribbon. A sprig of three red roses is stuck into the ribbon at the crown. The woman carries a large brown fur muff trimmed with a dark red bow. One pointed shoe is visible beneath her skirts.
