Description: Site of the Russ House Annex which was destroyed by the earthquake. The Russ House was a popular hotel and restaurant and stood at 187 South First Street. The rear of the brick building is visible in this photograph. Behind it stood the annex. The photograph was taken from San Antonio Street.
