Hand-colored map of southeast North America with pictorial imagery of Spanish exploration in the West Indies and New Mexico. European men carry chests of gold from a mine while American Indians observe. Quivara and Teguayo are identified on the map, as well as the route of Spanish explorers seeking gold.
