Supplementary material reads: "Gershon. City desk. Illus. Fire boat launching. Wilmington. The second of two 58-foot fireboats for Long Beach Harbor Board of Commissioners was launched yesterday at the Fellows & Stewart Boat Yards extension in the former Western Pipe and Steel yard on Wilmington-San Pedro road. Nos 1-2: Posed shot of Mrs. M.W. Daubney (holding bottle), left to right others are: Francis Reider, President, L.B. Harbor, Mrs. Eloi Amar, general magr. of Harbor Board, Joseph Fellows, company executive, Fire Chief Frank Sandeman, and Charles Vickers, asst., general mgr. Long Beach Harbor Department. No. 3: Mrs. M.W. Daubney cracks bottle of champagne against bow of Long Beach port No. 2 fireboat while other dignitaries look on. 4-5: Long Beach Port No 2., second of two 58-foot fireboats going down ways. No. 6-- Same boat in water trying to dock for completion after launching".
