Photograph caption dated January 17, 1957 reads "Mrs. Willis E. Lankford, 17213 Kingsbury St., Granada Hills, is shown with new daughter, Carla Jean, born in family car on St. Joseph Hospital grounds, while father, Los Angeles policeman, ran into emergency room to get physician's assistance. Ironically, Lankford, in line of duty, has delivered four other babies whose mothers failed to reach hospital in time." The hospital is in Burbank.
