Description: Portrait of George Eiferman, "Mr. America '48". George, who has not competed since 1948, just won the I.F.B.B. "Mr. Universe" contest held at the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York in front of a 2,500 capacity house. In this photo, George stands next to his trophy on a beach in Pacific Palisades. Photo dated: October 3, 1962.
