Description
Lyford property on Strawberry Point showing the narrow gauge railway from Sausalito north to Duncans Mills, CA. The Victorian house was built around 1876 by civil war physician, Dr. Benjamin Lyford and his wife, Hilarita, daughter of John Reed. The house was later moved across the bay to its present location at the Audubon Society in Tiburon.
