Photograph caption dated March 12, 1957 reads, "Fred Weddington, who came to Valley from Iowa in 1890 when North Hollywood was known as Lankershim, looks over early-day photographs. He founded Bank of Lankershim in 1910 and now owns investment firm in North Hollywood."
