Description
Seen in this photo are Councilman Dennis P. Zine and Councilwoman Jan Perry. Councilman Zine, represents the 3rd District; he is also an LAPD Reserve officer, and prior to being elected to serve as a representative of his district, Mr. Zine was a police officer. Councilwoman Perry, represents the 9th District; she spent five years as Chief of Staff for the 9th District prior to being elected to serve as its representative. Both Council members are seen here attending a Public Safety Appreciation barbeque held at Pershing Square in Downtown. Pershing Square is bounded by 5th, 6th, Hill, and Olive streets, taking up the entire block. Photo dated: October 21, 2005.
