Description
VT-218 JAN-100TH vacuum tube transmitter manufactured by Industrial and Commercial Electronics (ICE), Belmont, California. A number, possibly 1825, is stamped on the glass. A red Signal Corps stamp appears to be on the ceramic base. It is likely that this was manufactured by ICE for Eitel-McCullough during World War II to fulfill military contracts, as it bears the same model number and resemblance to the EIMAC VT-218 100TH. The glass has an unusual flaw, rippling upwards from the base.
