Description
Lee de Forest with eight other people, standing in front of the World War I memorial in Barre, Vermont, holding snowballs. From a de Forest scrapbook (2003-34-730). It is likely this photograph was taken near the time that the Phonofilm demonstration took place in Montpelier, Vermont. Mary Mayo de Forest is standing on de Forest's left, and some of the men are the same men identified in 2003-34-730g (William Waddell)
