This photograph is contained in one of two volumes by Dobbin titled "Album of San Francisco."
Text written under photo: "Fisherman's Wharf North Beach 1912." Photo shows Italian fishing boats, or "feluccas," docked at Fisherman's Wharf, located at Jefferson and Taylor Streets. Most of the boats have their crews on board; those nearest are posing for the camera. The brick buildings of the California Fruit Canners Association are visible in the background, with Fort Mason beyond.
