Photograph of the exterior of the Farmers and Merchants National Bank (later Security Pacific National bank), on the southwest corner of Main Street and Fourth Street, ca.1908. The rectangular three-story stone bank is built in a Greek-revival style. The adjacent streets and sidewalks are deserted. Electric streetcar lines run over the intersection. A traffic signal hangs from wires above. Legible signs include: "Farmers and Merchants National Bank, capital $1,500,000, surplus $1,000,000, safe deposit and storage vaults", "Theater Morosco's Burbank, [...] Monte Cristo, [...] Matinees every Saturday and Sunday", "The Humphrey, Currin & Osgood props.", "Morosco's Burbank, [...] Lost in the desert [...], Sunday matinee, Apr. 16"....
