Description
MS note: "Owned by Sam'l A. King, Land Commissioners Settlement Spanish Claims then J. Mora Ma?s then A. S. Mar---". This map has MS notes of original Rancho grants as presented to the Land Commission of that period for confirmation. The folder also contains an envelope in which the map was mailed to Robert E. Cowan , well known book dealer, in San Francisco. MS note: 3689 (See also Gen. Notes.). Prime meridian: GM. Relief: hachures. Graphic Scale: Miles. Projection: Plane. Printing Process: Lithography. Verso Text: MS note: "old Tom".
