Description
Photo caption printed in the Sacramento Bee on May 31, 1973 indicates: Gail Bash, right, manager of Sacramento's Arcade Water District, explains facts of water conservation to a trio of Girl Scouts from the Tierra Del Oro Council. The girls, from left, Susan Wiley, Nichole Gamble and Jeannie Bouschbacher, all of Troop 422, [l]earned that it takes two hours' output from Folsom Dam, seen in the background, to replace water wasted in a single day by Sacramento County residents. The scouts will help in the "Don't be a gutter-flooder" campaign that starts this Sunday."
