Photograph of the Farmers Bank and Merchants Bank on the west side of Main Street, north of the Downey Block, ca.1880. In the foreground, there are horse drawn carriages parked on a street in fronted of a row of awninged buildings. In the background, there is a very large four story building with a flat roof and a spire on top. In between the foreground and the background are several blocks of anonymous buildings in which two large signs are visible, one advertising a "Photographic Gallery" and the other with the words "City or Paris Dry Goods Fancy Goods". Previous record entry reads: "See USC-1-1-1-601 for complete view".
