On back: "Where prisoners sleep in the United State[s] Disciplinary Barracks on Alcatraz. Their quarters are p[ainted] sky blue with black and white trimmings. Each man has a [cell to] himself. There are accomodations (sic) for 600 men but the pr[ison] has a total of 331.
