Description
2008-2723. Shows three-masted sidewheel steamer with single smokestack. United States and ship's flag fly astern, and Canadian flag flying from first mast. Text below image identifies ship as built in 1848 by Wm. H. Webb, single engine by Messrs Stillman, Allen & Co. Built for the Pacific Mail Steamship Company. Also have negative: no. 29,227 (4x5 in. color transparency).
