Description
Photograph of a painting(?) of the holy cross, after which Mission Santa Cruz was named, [s.d.]. The cross consists of three equal-length arms, one each pointed to the top, left, and right, and a longer arm anchored by an elaborately decorated base at the bottom. The place where the four arms intersect is decorated with a circle and several small shafts reaching out diagonally. The base of the cross consists of a large rectangle flanked by two winged angels holding long spears that cross at center. Each of the shorter arms has three small pegs sticking out.
