Description
Black and white photograph showing Miss Brazier of the Methodist Missionary Society, head of evangelistic work near Ama Achara, south-eastern Nigeria. Miss Brazier stands with a group of Nigerian girls, dressed in identical uniforms of dresses, and a Nigerian female teacher. The caption to this photograph reads: "Group. June 1936." This photograph was pasted into one of a series of exercise book albums created by Emily Godfrey, Matron of the Ama Achara Methodist Hospital from 1921 to 1944.
