Shows St. Matthew's Episcopal Church, St. Matthew's School.
Rev. Alfred Lee Brewer was born in Norwich, Conn. in 1831. Came to California in 1865, where established St. Matthew's in San Mateo and started St. Matthew's School adjacent to church. Died in 1899.
