Description
Scope/Content: From “Beach Rat Pix”, p. 87: “Three marlin in one day for the boat, Alamo, skippered by Wes Fowler on display at the Balboa Angling Club dock, Balboa. At the left is George Souther with his 140-pound marlin caught on regulation heavy tackle in 35 minutes. At the right is angler Charles Preston. He caught the other two fish on heavy tackle in one hour and 10 minutes and 37 minutes. They weighed 137 1/2 pounds and 175 pounds.”
