Photograph caption dated September 4, 1956 reads "Chung Wah Drum and Bugle Corps, sponsored by Glendale Legion Post 817, marches in seven and a half hour long Legion parade. Glendale entry was one of several from Valley area that participated in march." The American Legion held its 38th annual national convention in Los Angeles.
