Description
Photograph caption dated July 11, 1958 reads, "Smoke pours out of Fitch Canyon near Newhall as 200-acre blaze races through thick brush. Flames came with 10 feet of one home, burned down three small cabins. Heat rose to 105 on fire lines. Some firemen collapsed from heat exhaustion."; See images #00123859 through #00123861 for all photos in this series.
