A wide paved road runs horizontally through the center of the image, dividing it. The post office lies in the background of the photo, with many automobiles parked in front. Trees and shrubbery line the left side of the building and an American flag flies near its entrance. A sign on the front of the building reads: "United States Post Office, Studio City, North Hollywood California, 91604."
